Nicole Chavez

1.) Nicole Chavez has been too irresponsible in her personal life to write serious laws for the rest of us to follow. She was arrested for aggravated drunk driving and was arrested for failing to appear in court. She founded a non-profit that had its non-profit status revoked by the state, and can't even give a straight answer to how long she has lived in this community.

a.) Nicole Chavez was charged with Aggravated DWI (under her previous married name of Nicole Nally). She blew twice the legal limit and failed multiple sobriety tests.

b.) In a separate incident, Chavez was charged and found guilty of failing to appear in court.

c.) Chavez still touts herself as the Founder of Robbed New Mexico. According to Facebook and its website, “ROBBED is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, Support & Educational Group for families of victims of violent crimes.” The organization, according to state records, is currently operating illegally. The State has revoked its non-profit status, and it is no longer in good standing.

d.) In her candidate questionnaire for the NM Business Coalition, Chavez said she has lived in HD 31 for 10 years; however, last election cycle she ran for a totally different House District (HD28) using a different address.

2.) Nicole Chavez blindly supports Donald Trump and is supported by key players from the infamous "fake electors" scandal who tried to steal New Mexico's electoral votes for Donald Trump.

a.) In the 2024 GOP Primary, Chavez’s campaign was supported by Anissa Ford-Tinnin’s Our Values PAC, even running ads supporting Chavez and attacking her opponent Sarah Jane Allen. Tinnin was one of the “fake” electors for Trump in 2020 and a peddler of the Big Lie.

3.) Nicole Chavez is a threat to women's health. She will ban abortion if she gets the chance, just like Republicans in nearby states like Texas and Oklahoma who have banned all abortions and criminalized women and their doctors if they seek one.

a.) Chavez has been endorsed by and is a NM team leader for Latinos United for Conservative Action (LUCA), an extremist organization on the issue of choice. The group is led by a Trump extremist and proclaims to “fight for the life of the unborn”, and “elect Godly men and women into office”.

b.) Her responses in the conservative iVoter Guide demonstrate she wants to remove funding for crucial services like Planned Parenthood, and require reporting of abortion procedures. (iVoter Guide direct link)
